Individual Career Coaching

Individual Career Coaching offers in-depth one-on-one career direction, coaching, mentoring, and accountability by a VRG Career Consultant for those currently in job transition, looking for their first job or considering leaving their current job. It takes the information provided in the STRIVE and Career Transition Workshops and digs deeper into each of the topics while also providing specific support in areas of interest or need by the individual.

The Individual Career Coaching Workshops may have 20+ attendees, Career Coaching is one-on-one affording the individual the full attention of the VRG Career Consultant. This allows for more attention to detail, specific situational questions, and topic-driven training, and coaching. Whereas VRG’s workshops provide general information pertaining to resume writing, LinkedIn profile creation, interviewing techniques, etc., individual career coaching provides in-depth resume, LinkedIn profile review and re-write, in addition to a job search plan, mock interviewing, networking techniques, salary negotiations, and working with recruiters. 

Career Coaching sessions include:

• 4-one hour in-person/online coaching sessions
• Resume review and update
• LinkedIn profile review and update
• In-depth counsel on using LinkedIn for job search and networking, interviewing, working with recruiters, and salary negotiations
• Access to your Career Coach for 6-months after the initial coaching sessions
