Career Consultant Certification

Career Consultant Certificate gives churches and other Christian organizations an internal Career Coach in order to offer in-depth individual career training, coaching, mentoring, and accountability on an as-needed basis. Since the certified Career Coach is internal, they can easily serve church members as part of a care ministry or as an outreach to the community.

The church is in a unique position of being able to offer this practical service to help people who are currently in a job transition, looking for their first job, or considering leaving their current job.

Your Career Consultant will be trained to work one-on-one with individuals in helping them navigate the job search environment. The training includes methodologies to help with specific situational questions, and job search topics in addition to in-depth training to provide in-depth resume review and update, LinkedIn profile review and re-write, establishing a job search plan, mock interviewing techniques, using LinkedIn for networking and job searching, how to handle the salary question and negotiations, and working with recruiters.

In addition to the 4 hours of individual training, the certificate also includes a Co-Coaching session prior to flying solo and access to the Career Coach for future questions and/or counsel.
